Seabee VS I LIKE TO MAKE STUFF

YouTube Creator Bob Clagett concentrates on using a drill press during a US Navy mystery shelter construction challenge

Seabee VS I LIKE TO MAKE STUFF

In this episode of Sailor VS, master DIY-er, Bob Clagett from the channel I Like To Make Stuff, goes head to head with SW2 Priester and a team of Seabees to see who can build the best shelter from a mystery box of goods. The rules are simple: you must use everything and it must stand upright. As the buzzer sounds, both opponents get a first look at the contents of their crates and start brainstorming how to use everything from a pool toy to a slinky. This is a test of many skills from wood working to welding to creative design. The Seabees divide and conquer with their Builder (BU) cutting, Construction Electrician (CE) and Engineering Aide (EA) assembling, Equipment Operator (EO) driving forklifts and Steelworker (SW) welding. Construction as a Seabee in the Navy is a team effort. With the motto, “Can Do!” there is nothing they can’t build as one. See how Bob measures up. Learn more about Seabee careers.
